First, any tent over 2400 square feet (40 X 60) requires a permit from the City Of Ottawa. You will also require an engineering inspection after the tent has gone up (we look after that for you).

What this does is send out the utility companies who will locate where gas lines are run, hydro and Bell telephone and mark them. Thirdly, you should determine if the tent can be spiked in the ground. If it can't be, don't worry! You can always have your tent water barreled for a secure fix with concrete blocks.
