Call us up to know more about our services and requirements:
How to book a tent:
To book a tent, simply call us to reserve the right tent size and to confirm availability on the date of your event. If you intend to rent other accessories apart from our tents, confirm their availability as well. Once your rental items have been confirmed, we will ask for your information so we can 'put you in the book' and send you an invoice, either by email or fax. We require a 50% deposit to confirm your items and booking.
Tent Measurements:
When renting a tent, make sure your grass area is at least 3 feet wider and longer than the tent size. A 40'x60' tent, for example, requires a 46'by 66' grass area to support the entire structure. You may request for a site inspection if you think you don't have enough room to erect a given tent size.
DIY Installations:
To make sure your tent is properly set-up, we don't allow do-it-yourself installations. Trust our professional crew to build you a rigid and sturdy tent for your event.
Out-of-town Set-ups/Deliveries:
We deliver to areas of the Province within 150 kilometers of the city limits, but we reserve the right to decline locations that are too far, depending on prior commitments or scheduled deliveries we might have during the time. Travel charges apply for locations that are beyond Ottawa limits. Feel free to inquire about our rates—we don't charge any additional delivery rate for extra items ordered with a tent.
Chair and Table Set-Ups:
Our crew is only responsible for installing the tent, portable bar, and dance floor. Table and chair set-ups are up to the customer.
Problems?
Should you encounter any problem while using our tents, feel free to call our 24-hour emergency service. Should our tents get damaged in your care, we won't hold you responsible if the damage is due to natural causes. Human error (your little nephew, running a knife across the tent walls) is a different story. You may also use any kind of decoration, except for crepe paper streamers, packing and duct tape, which damage the tent and cause permanent stains.
If somehow, ventilation is not enough inside the tent, you can take some walls down and fold them up the best way you can so they won't get damaged.Frequently asked questions
To book a tent you should start by calling us to make sure that the tent size you need is available for the date you need. If you require any other accessories you should check on the availability of those as well. Once we have confirmed that items you want are available we will take your information and "put you in the book". We will send you an invoice by (e) mail or fax and a 50% deposit is required which confirms your items.
How do I know if a tent will fit in my yard?
If you are renting a tent, you will need a grass area that is at least 3 feet larger than the tent on all four sides. So, for example, a 40'x60' tent requires a grass area that is 46'x66'. The tent requires an area that is all-grass; the area where the tent is to be installed cannot have obstructions on the ground or lack proper overhead clearance. Because it is important to ensure that a proposed site is suitable, we offer site inspections for customers who are not sure if they have enough room for a given tent size.
Do you set up tents out of town?
Yes. We normally will travel to areas of the Province that are within about 150Kms of the city limits, although we occasionally may decide that we can travel further or cannot travel that far depending on other commitments that we might have that weekend. There is a travel charge for locations beyond Ottawa limits. Please inquire about the different rates.
Can I pick up the tent and install it myself?
We do not rent out any tents that customers install themselves. Our professional crews have the experience to set-up the tents. There are so many variables that contribute to the rigidity and proper set-up of our tents that we need our installation experts, with all of their experience, to do it right.
Do you charge extra to deliver tables, chairs and dance floor?
No. There is no charge for delivery of tables, chairs and dance floor when they are rented with a tent, even if they are going to an out-of-town location. Once you pay the travel charge for your location there is no additional charge for adding items on to your order other than the cost of the items themselves.
Who sets up the tables and chairs?
Our customers are responsible for setting up the tables and chairs. We look after installing the tent. If you are renting a portable bar or a dance floor we will install that as well. The tables and chairs we will only deliver and remove, although we do deliver them to the inside of the tent when we can.
What if I have a problem while using the tent?
Our tents come with free 24 hour emergency service so if you have any problems at all give us a call!
What happens if the tent gets damaged while I'm using it?
It all depends what happened. If your little nephew took a knife and ran down one of the sidewalls you will be responsible. If something happens during a storm then you are not responsible. We trust our customers will keep our equipment in the condition they got it so that many other people can enjoy our services.
What kinds of decorations can I use?
Crepe paper streamers seem to be the only thing other than packing tape or duct tape that will damage the tent. If the streamers get wet the color actually leaches out and soaks right into the tent material leaving an unrepairable stain. The tape actually leaves a film of glue on the tent material that is very difficult to remove.
Can I take some walls down if it gets to hot inside the tent?
Of course you can. All we ask is that you fold them up as best you can and keep them in a dry place so they don't get damaged. After your event, just put them in the tent so that our crews can get them.
